the silver lining

One of the other teachers at my school just told me that I must be a horse whisperer, because when I was gone for Grandma’s funeral, my students were just crazy.  I’m not sure if it’s cause and effect or simpler correlation, but I was happy to hear that!  That’s my silver lining for the day, that’s for sure. . .

Sarah, I am so proud of you! I know yoiu are amazing, and it’s nice to hear that someone else agrees with me outside of the family. Keep up the good work. Just know, you are making a major difference in those kids just by being there for them day in and day out, even if it’s as indirect as walking in the same halls as them. It means something. Keep that beautiful smile on your even prettier face!!!
